A short history of the workshop
La Compagnie du Verre was founded in 2017 by Philippe Massé, an enthusiast of the decorative arts, drawing on his experience as director of Maison Lesage, the renowned Haute Couture embroidery house. Determined to elevate glass—a material he saw as underutilized—he brought together five friends, including a glassmaker from the Atelier Bernard Pictet, to establish a workshop dedicated not only to technical excellence but also to a bold commitment to innovation.
Very soon, several renowned creators such as Vincent Darré, Mathias Kiss, and Philippe Starck placed their trust in La Compagnie du Verre, confirming its unique expertise in the world of design and luxury. Since then, the company’s references speak for themselves: La Mamounia, Boucheron, Chanel, LVMH, Rosewood, Four Seasons, and more.
After relocating from Aubervilliers to Pantin in April 2019, the company reached a significant turning point. It benefited from the arrival of Antoine Baudouin, the current director, who brought fresh energy and talent to support continuous growth.
Later, under the leadership of glass artisan Anaïs Champion, the workshop intensified its activity. Her expertise in glasswork reinforced the founders’ vision—focused on creations that are technical, aesthetic, and timeless.
Finally, in 2024, Edwige Tribèche joined the team as Sales Director, bringing her network and expertise to open new markets and strengthen the workshop’s position in the world of design and luxury.
Now stronger than ever, La Compagnie du Verre continues to push the boundaries of decorative glasswork, upholding exceptional craftsmanship while reaching toward new horizons.
